The proposed Revas–Karanja Sea Bridge is expected to significantly enhance
connectivity between Navi Mumbai and the Alibaug region. Currently, traveling from
Uran to Poynad/Anantapur takes approximately 2 hours, as commuters must take a
longer route via Pen. Once the Sea Bridge is completed, the travel time from Uran
Railway Station to Poynad/Anantapur via Revas is expected to be reduced to just around
57 minutes.
